PDLC Switchable Glass Technology
The Smart Glass Partition uses PDLC (Polymer Dispersed Liquid Crystal) technology to switch glass between transparent and frosted states electronically. When current is applied, liquid crystal molecules align and the glass becomes clear. When current is removed, molecules randomize and the glass becomes frosted within milliseconds — creating on-demand privacy without blinds, applied films, or mechanical privacy devices.
Clear Mode
Transparent state for collaboration, visibility, and natural light transmission. Activated by electrical current — typically the default during business hours.
Frosted Mode
Privacy state for confidential meetings and sensitive presentations. Activated by removing electrical current — switches in under 1 second, blocks 99%+ visual obstruction.
